Terms & Conditions

A few things to know before you stay.

These terms cover the practical details of your time at Tazurf, from booking and payments to cancellations, accommodation and activities. By making a booking with Tazurf, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

Please take a moment to read through them before booking. If you have any questions, get in touch. We like to keep things clear, simple and easy from the start.

01 Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once you have received a booking confirmation from Tazurf.

Guests are responsible for checking all details in their booking confirmation, including travel dates, accommodation, number of guests and any additional services booked.

Any errors should be communicated to us as soon as possible.

Additional activities and services can be added before or during your stay, subject to availability.

02 Prices

All prices are shown in MAD unless otherwise stated.

Prices for optional activities, equipment, transfers and other services may vary depending on availability, duration and the service selected.

03 Changes to Your Booking

We understand that plans can change. If you would like to change your travel dates, accommodation or additional activities, please contact us as early as possible.

We will do our best to accommodate changes, but all changes are subject to availability and may result in a change in price. Activities may also be added during your stay, subject to availability and suitable conditions.

04 Cancellations or Changes by Tazurf

In rare circumstances, Tazurf may need to change or cancel accommodation, activities or other services. If Tazurf cancels a service that you have paid for and no suitable alternative can be provided, we will offer an appropriate refund for the affected service, subject to applicable law.

Where possible, we will always try to offer a reasonable alternative first. Changes to individual activities due to surf, weather or safety conditions are addressed separately below.

05 Surf Lessons, Coaching & Guiding

Surfing takes place in a natural and changing environment.

Wave conditions, tides, wind, currents and weather can change quickly. For this reason, surf locations, times and schedules may be changed depending on conditions and the experience level of participants.

Tazurf reserve the right to change, postpone or cancel a surf session where conditions are considered unsuitable or unsafe.

Surf Lessons & Coaching

Guests must follow the instructions of their instructor or coach and inform the team of any relevant medical condition, injury or other circumstance that could affect their safe participation.

Guests should only participate in activities that are appropriate for their physical condition.

Surf Guiding

Surf guiding is intended for surfers with an appropriate level of experience and independence in the water.

A surf guide helps guests find suitable surf locations and provides local knowledge and general guidance. Surf guiding is not the same as a supervised beginner surf lesson.

Guests participating in surf guiding remain responsible for surfing within their own ability and following the instructions and safety guidance provided.

Tazurf will take reasonable care in providing its surf services. Participation in surfing nevertheless involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

06 Surf & Weather Conditions

The ocean does not work to a schedule.

Tazurf cannot guarantee particular wave heights, surf spots, weather conditions or other natural conditions during your stay.

Surf plans may therefore change from day to day.

Where a booked activity cannot safely take place, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule it or offer a suitable alternative where possible.

The applicable refund or credit arrangements for activities that cannot be delivered will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

07 Other Activities & Experiences

Tazurf may offer additional activities such as yoga, sandboarding, excursions, hikes, day trips and other local experiences.

Some activities may be provided by independent local partners. Activities may depend on weather, availability, minimum participant numbers and other operational or safety considerations. Schedules, locations or activities may therefore occasionally need to change.

Guests are responsible for following the instructions provided by Tazurf, guides and activity providers.

08 Equipment

Surfboards, wetsuits and other equipment provided by Tazurf should be used responsibly and only for their intended purpose.

Normal wear and tear is expected. Guests may be charged for equipment that is lost or damaged as a result of misuse, negligence or failure to follow reasonable instructions. Please inform us immediately if equipment is damaged or lost.

09 Accommodation & House Rules

Guests are expected to treat the house, equipment, staff, local community and other guests with respect.

Check-in and check-out times will be communicated with your booking.

Only registered guests may stay overnight unless otherwise agreed with Tazurf.

Guests may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing property that is intentionally damaged or damaged through negligence.

Tazurf reserves the right to take reasonable action in cases of dangerous, abusive, discriminatory or seriously disruptive behaviour.

10 Health & Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for considering whether their health, fitness and experience are appropriate for the activities they choose to participate in.

Please inform us before participating in an activity if you have a relevant medical condition, injury, allergy or other circumstance that may affect your participation or require reasonable assistance.

Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions given by Tazurf staff, instructors, guides or activity providers.

Participation in sporting and outdoor activities involves inherent risks. Tazurf will take reasonable care in providing its services but cannot remove all risks associated with the ocean, weather, terrain or other natural environments.

11 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests arrange comprehensive travel insurance before travelling to Morocco.

Your insurance should be appropriate for your trip and ideally include:

  • medical treatment and emergency assistance

  • trip cancellation or interruption

  • lost or damaged belongings

  • travel delays

  • surfing and any other sporting or outdoor activities you plan to participate in

Guests are responsible for checking the terms and exclusions of their own insurance policy.

Tazurf is not responsible for a guest being unable to travel due to missing or invalid travel documents where this is outside Tazurf's control.

13 Transfers & Third Party Services

Some services offered during your stay may be provided by independent third parties, such as transfer operators, guides or other local activity providers.

Where third party services are involved, Tazurf will take reasonable care in selecting and coordinating providers where applicable.

The legal responsibility of Tazurf for services provided by third parties will depend on the nature of the booking and applicable law.

If an issue occurs with a third party service booked through Tazurf, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist.

These may include severe weather or natural disasters, fire, strikes, transport disruption, government restrictions, civil unrest or other extraordinary events.

If such circumstances affect your stay, we will make reasonable efforts to find an alternative solution or adjust the affected services.
